It was gathered that the suspect recently celebrated his birthday at Hard & Rock, Lekki, Lagos, week before his arrest, where he lavished over half a million on foods and drinks.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">The suspect, a 100 level part time student of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos, said that he has been in the business for more than two years.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Falope’s activities on Instagram was placed under investigations when the Police received a complaint about an Instagram handle @blackberbiedoll, used for criminal activities.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Apart from @blackberbiedoll, which he prominently used for fraudulent activities, he maintained @froshwhite007 and @froshwhite separately for same purpose.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">The complainant, Bernard stated that he got a friend request from @blackberbiedoll. “Apparently, the picture on the account was that of a lady. The lady in question messaged me on BBM. Honestly, I thought I was chatting with a woman who claimed to be in Nigeria at the time.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">“She lied to me that her father was a Nigerian and her mum, a Kenyan, and so we got talking. At a point, she lied that she was building a beauty outfit in Ikota Shopping Mall, VGC and that she was in need of some money to complete the mall,” Bernard added.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">He explained further, “I had to transfer N1 million to her. Weeks later, I got suspicious of the account name Olawole Israel Oluwaseun Falope. I ran a search on Google, and then discovered it was all scam.... Immediately, I reported the incident to Instagram and that account was blocked and later suspended to prevent others from falling victim.”</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Admitting the allegation, the suspect noted that since he started the fraudulent act about 2 years ago, he had duped no fewer than 33 men pretending to be a lady on Instagram and that the least amount he received from any of them was N80,000.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">“When I started, much as I pretended to be a lady on phone, some men on the other side didn’t believe me. I then downloaded an app on Google which transformed my voice into that of a lady whenever I am having conversation.... I got several pictures of Shayla, a pretty United States based lady on my profile. Since then, men have been disturbing me and calling to request for a date,” he stated.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">He said, “What I do is that I assess people based on their appearance on Instagram, add them and thereafter open up conversations with them before I start bringing up all manners of stories in order to dupe them.... At a point, I lied to most of them that I had an accident and I lost my ATM. I told them that I need some money. Some of them were generous enough to drop money into my account.”</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">“I lied to them that I was putting up a boutique and saloon at Ikota, VGC and Lekki, and that I need money to finish setting up.... I know I made a mistake downloading Shayla’s pictures and used them for fraudulent purposes. I am telling you the truth, those that I have collected money from cant be more than 33,” he explained.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Investigations revealed that the owner of the profile pictures the suspect used, @Shayla had complained to Instagram that some Nigerians were using her profile pictures to scam unsuspecting members of the public.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">It was also disclosed that the suspect claimed to be a friend of Toke Makinwa, Tonto Dike, Don jazzy, Peter Okoye, Toyin Aihmaku, Tee Y Mix, Oristsefemi, Timaya, Sean Tizzle, Dami Adenuga, Femi Otedola, Mike Adenuga jnr, Ramsey Noah e.t.c.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">“I know all of them. I attend a lot of shows, I meet them, take photographs with them, even exchange numbers. Like sister Toke Makinwa, Tonto Dike, Uncle Ramsey Noah, these are the kind of celebrities I look up to and I want to be like them,” he stated.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">But RRS investigators confirmed that he was following a lot of Nigerian celebrities on Instagram but they could not confirm if any of them fell prey to Falope's antics, as many his Instagram chats with them got no response.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">They added that a Ghanian business man who Falope claimed to have met at a popular club in Nigeria rebuffed his request to engage him in a chat.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">They noted that Falope claims of been a half-cast, Fashion designer, stylist, cosmetologist, model were all part his fraud to make people fall for him. He was never a trainee or a specialist in any of this.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Our source added that he is not an half-cast as he claimed to be, rather he bleached his skin.</span><br />

Sahara Reporters: Saraki Turned Emir of Ilorin Into 'Houseboy'

Sahara Reporters have alleged that the president of the Nigerian Senate, Bukola Saraki has turned the the Emir of Ilorin into a mere houseboy and a puppet. The report alleged that "Increasingly, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, is 
becoming a tool in the hands of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki,
 SaharaReporters sources in Kwara State say."<br />
Bukola Saraki is currently facing prosecution for alleged false declaration of assets and if found guilty could result in loss of his exalted position as the senate president. He is therefore using a variety of weapons to 
fight his political battles, and the most prominent of his battle axes 
are the Emir and State Governor Abdulfattah Ahmed, according to Sahara Reporters.<br />A recent victim of
 the onslaught is Alhaji Ibrahim Oniye, Makaman Ilorin, who was 
suspended by Governor Ahmed as Chairman of Kwara State Parent-Teachers 
Association.<br />The suspension of Oniye, who was also barred by the Emir
 from stepping into his palace, did not come as a shock to many people 
in the state. <br />The man, although blind, is a reputed straight talker,
 who is not afraid to speak the truth to those in authority. His 
fearless nature was said to be one of the attributes that endeared him 
to the late Emir Aliyu Abdulkadir, the 10th Emir of Ilorin, who 
appointed him the first Makaman of the Ilorin Emirate in 1993. <br />Our 
sources say what got Oniye into trouble was his decision to tell Alhaji 
Sulu-Gambari that more people in Kwara are angry with Saraki and are 
actually cursing him. Oniye was said to have told the Emir that those 
cursing Saraki are mainly the poor, who see the Senate President as one 
who has taken what belongs to them and continues to do so through 
Governor Ahmed, who is seen as a stooge.<br />Alhaji Oniye was said to 
have made this observation known to the Emir at a meeting called by the 
latter to find out why huge financial outlays on prayers by Saraki 
failed to stop the Supreme Court from halting the Code of Conduct 
Tribunal (CCT) from going ahead with the Senate President’s prosecution.<br />In
 attendance at the meeting were prominent Muslim clerics and Ilorin 
title holders, who preferred to deodorize the real situation until Oniye
 spoke and told the meeting about the anger of Kwarans with Saraki.<br />The treatment of Oniye by the palace and the governor has sparked disquiet in the state and invited scrutiny of the Emir.<br />SaharaReporters
 sources said that as word leaked that Alhaji Oniye had been suspended 
and that his PTA chairmanship would be taken away, the political 
establishment in Ilorin reversed the decision. By the time 
SaharaReporters reached Alhaji Oniye, it was apparent he had ready-made 
answers. Carefully picking his words, he denied he had not been 
suspended and blamed the news on those that might be jealous of his many
 titles and prestigious position within the Ilorin Emirate.<br />He also 
said he was never removed as the PTA chairman at the state level. He 
stressed that as he had never been “queried or indicted” for any 
malfeasance, he couldn’t have been removed. <br />Asked if he had spoken 
up for teachers whose salaries had remained unpaid in the state, he 
waxed philosophical saying he is the “father of all” and then asked 
rhetorically if there are no unpaid teachers in Osun, Bauchi, Kano and 
other places.<br />When SaharaReporters pressed Alhaji Oniye regarding the
 Saraki trial in Abuja, he gave interesting answers. First, he said it 
was his duty not to allow the image of Ilorin to be dragged in the mud 
by the trial since Saraki was Ilorin’s son, and later, that he would 
advise people not to jubilate over Saraki’s predicament unless he is 
pronounced guilty by the tribunal. When our reporter read this portion 
of his statement to him he asked that it be taken out completely saying 
he had no comment on Saraki because he doesn’t want to be dragged into 
politics.<br />

More Boko Haram Camps Destroyed By Soldiers (With Very Graphic Photos)

Following reliable information on the presence of some Boko Haram 
terrorists, troops of 113 Battalion conducted a fighting patrol to Dunga
 general area on Thursday during which they discovered and destroyed a 
Boko Haram terrorists’ camp at Alajeri village in Guzamala Local 
Government Area of Borno State.<br />
In the operation, the troops killed 40 Boko Haram terrorists and 
captured 1 General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG), 1 Rocket Propelled 
Grenade 7 ( RPG 7), 6 AK-47 rifles, 2 Fabrique Nationale rifles, 10 
magazines, 188 rounds of 7.62mm (NATO) ammunition and 64 rounds of 
7.62mm (Special) ammunition. Other items recovered by the troops 
included 3 mobile phones, 6 copies of Holy Quran and 20 Motorcycles.<br />
